Another ridiculous CFS study

For anyone not familiar with the Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory (MFI):
"The MFI-20 consists of five subscales of fatigue: General Fatigue
(GF), Physical Fatigue (PF), Reduced Motivation (RM), Reduced Activity
(RA), and Mental Fatigue (MF). The questionnaire comprises 20 items
for which the person must specify the extent to which the particular
statements relates to him/her on a five-point scale, ranging from Yes,
that is true to No, that is not true."

The 20 questions can be seen in this table:

As one can see, 4 of the questions are specifically designed to
measure motivation!

It will be interesting to find out if this study, like nearly all of
the output from the CDC in the last 6 years, used the "empiric"
criteria (Reeves et al., 2005) to define CFS.
