You can make a difference even from bed
As we approach the 10th anniversary of 9/11, let me remind you that there are things you can do to make a difference without leaving home. Nathalie Forster had the idea of a World Peace Ribbon. Segments arrived from around the globe. On days I was too brain-dead to do anything else, I sewed them together.
The ribbon was ultimately donated for display at the United Nations and makes an annual appearance at the UN's International Day of Peace Vigil. These are the photos taken of some of the segments that really caught my eye and the completed ribbon before I mailed it off.
I'm still looking for the photos I got from the UN showing it on display there.
